We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in providing leadership and setting the manufacturing standards across our production operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor the manufacturing engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Serve as the technical expert on manufacturing processes, guiding the team on best practices and standards.

Manufacturing Standards :

  • Establish, document, and maintain manufacturing standards and procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all production lines.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to integrate quality standards into the manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Process Improvement :

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize product designs for production.

Technology & Innovation :

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and tools that could improve manufacturing processes and performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology, integrating relevant innovations into the manufacturing environment.

Project Management :

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and supply chain to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present project reports, metrics, and updates to senior management.

Compliance & Safety :

  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment by leading safety initiatives and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a proven track record of leadership and process improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and standards.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other manufacturing-related tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
