Key ResponsibilitiesSubmit and monitor reimbursement requests to GSE Investors and Mortgage Insurance companies for advances on defaulted loansPerform loss analysis reconciliations on defaulted loans and document root causes for unreimbursed advancesPrepare monthly reports on monetary losses and negotiate settlements with relevant partiesQualifications and EducationBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred2+ years of experience in Default Claims with knowledge of FHA / VA Claims4+ years of experience in Mortgage Servicing or related financial services industryIn-depth knowledge of default servicing processes and agency guidelinesAt least 3 years of recent experience working with MSP
