We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician. Please only apply to this position if you have at least two years of technician expierience.
As a Veterinary Technician you will play a cruticial role in supporting the veterinarians and provind the best care for each animal! Your compassion for animals and strong organizational skills will be essential in this role.
Basic Skills and Qualifications :
- Certification or Associates degree in veterinary technology is preferred but not required (Internships in a veterinary clinic, working in a veterinary setting can qualify for Certifications or Associates Degree)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely
- Knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments
- Administering medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
- Providing compassionate care and handling for animals in various situations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization for the exam rooms
