About the Job

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a full-time faculty researcher / scientist.

Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must have demonstrated ability in research, scholarly productivity, and teaching.

Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a research fellowship and / or a clinical scholars program designed to prepare physician-scientists for an independent career in clinical and patient-oriented translational research.

Minimum requirements are a PhD.

Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty / research experience with a goal of developing collaborative or independent, externally funded research.

Faculty will be active in their national organizations and foster an academic environment for medical students, residents and faculty.

The Department of Radiation Oncology is home to clinical faculty as well as basic science faculty involved in research, undergraduate and graduate education.
