Role Overview :
The Fulfillment Manager oversees the seamless and efficient execution of order processing, encompassing everything from order picking and packing to timely shipping, ensuring adherence to customer ship date requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Order Processing and Tracking
a) Monitor daily order quantities and status.
b) Ensure orders are dispatched correctly and on time.
c) Resolve any delays or issues.
2) Inventory Management
a) Develop inventory control strategies, following FIFO and FEFO principles.
b) Set regular inventory counting schemes including frequency, location, and SKU to ensure system counts match actual counts.
c) Ensure sufficient product inventory to meet order requirements.
i) Collaborate with the warehouse department to develop the next day's restocking list.
ii) Warehouse restocking times should be staggered with Fulfillment's working hours to avoid confusion.
iii) Before starting daily work, Fulfillment needs to verify restocked items and quantities with the warehouse.
d) Communicate with the sales and marketing departments to anticipate future inventory needs.
e) Track and manage expired or damaged goods.
3) Packaging and Dispatch
a) Establish dispatch processes.
b) Establish and strictly enforce packaging standards to ensure product safety during transit.
c) Coordinate with sales and marketing departments to anticipate dispatch volumes and arrange manpower accordingly.
d) Monitor dispatch efficiency and improve accuracy rates.
4) Collaboration with Logistics Companies
a) Create a logistics plan to handle peak-season shipping volumes.
b) Develop emergency shipping strategies.
i) Decide on transportation methods based on inventory status.
c) Manage relationships with third-party logistics companies.
d) Monitor the performance of logistics companies and provide feedback. Change partners if necessary.
5) System Management
a) Developing and using the dispatch management system.
b) Collaborate with the IT department to promptly address system issues.
6) Team Management
a) Provide necessary training to new staff, including safety knowledge, required permits for machinery operation, and operation of the dispatch management system.
b) Define department structure and job responsibilities for each role.
c) Evaluate department and employee performance, providing feedback and guidance.
d) Ensure all department members understand department goals and strategies.
7) Internal Process Optimization
a) Continuously refine operational processes to boost department efficiency and reduce resource wastage.
b) Oversee department processes, identifying potential risks in a timely manner.
8) Budget and Cost Control
a) Establish a budget.
b) Monitor operational costs and find ways to reduce expenses.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or distribution center role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to lift / move 20-40 lbs on a regular cadence in an ongoing basis.
- Basic WMS skills, data entry, math and reading skills
- Minimum 2+ year of warehouse experience
- Pay : $90,000 - $110,000 / year
