About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Float Pool Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 11.
5 hours Guaranteed Hours : Choice of 34.5 or 46 hours per week Experience : - 2 years of experience in PICU in the last 3 years- Travel experience or local NYC experience- Level 1 trauma experience- Experience in a large academic setting (teaching hospital) License : New York State RN License Certifications : - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for critical units Must-Have : - COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required prior to start date- Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset- Skills checklist matching required skill set- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience- 2 references from most recent assignment within skill set Job Description : Participate in voice advantage interview and nurse manager screening / interviews- Weekly start dates, requiring 4-6 weeks on average to complete compliance- Call requirement : None- Weekend requirement : Every other weekend- Float requirement : Yes, to areas within acuity- Uniform : Navy bottom with dark shoes or all white scrubs with white shoes
