Position : Registered Nurse (RN)-Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC)

Overview :
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC) team on a permanent basis.
As an RN in the PCU / IMC, you will play a critical role in providing specialised care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and interventions.
This position offers a stable work schedule with 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, providing specialised care and interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans for patients in the PCU / IMC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
Requirements :
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care (IMC) setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
