Position : Underwriter

Are you a meticulous, analytical thinker with a knack for evaluating financial risks? We’re seeking an Underwriter to play a critical role in our risk mitigation strategy.

This position involves reviewing merchant applications, analyzing potential risks, and ensuring compliance with our high standards for customer satisfaction and organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Risk Analysis : Evaluate applications to identify potential risks and predict outcomes.
• Compliance Review : Examine merchant files to ensure adherence to policies.
• Financial Assessment : Analyze financial statements and credit reports.
• Reporting : Generate management reports to inform on performance and risk levels.
• Data Compilation : Utilize advanced tools to gather and analyze data.
• Regulatory Investigation : Explore opportunities within regulatory frameworks from card brands, sponsor banks, and other agencies.
• Target Achievement : Meet productivity and risk management goals.
• Expert Collaboration : Partner with sales colleagues on new opportunities and scenarios.

Requirements :

• Education : Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Statistics, or a similar field.
• Experience : Proven track record as an Underwriter or Risk-assessment professional in the financial technology or payments industry.
• Knowledge : Practical understanding of Card Network rules and regulations.
• Skills : Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and Excel.
• Professional Experience : 1-3 years in an underwriter or similar analytical role.
• Abilities : Strong decision-making, problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
