About The Position
Job Title : Acute Care Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Occupational Therapy in Inpatient Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (7 : 30 AM - 8 : 30 PM, Saturday to Monday) Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : 1-2 years of experience in acute care, with exposure to medical-surgical, oncology, organ transplant, telemetry, neuro, and advanced heart failure License : Valid California Occupational Therapy Licensure Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have : Epic charting experience preferred- Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing- Awareness of local rate application if applicable Job Description : Provide acute care occupational therapy for adult and geriatric patients- Deliver additional services for emergency department triage and post-anesthesia care unit- Participate in patient rehabilitation focusing on occupational therapy interventions Additional Notes : COVID-19 and flu vaccine status unknown- Background policy requires disclosure of any issues prior to submission- Returning staff must have been gone for at least one year to return as a traveler- Orientation : 16 hours, non-billable
