• Prioritize patient care, considering varying acuity levels.* - Maintain clear and concise communication for continuity of care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of adult and geriatric patient growth and development, as applicable.Quality of Care : * - Document patient care in compliance with nursing documentation standards.
• Develop comprehensive care plans based on patient assessments, health care team input, intra-agency referrals, and medical records.
• Create educational plans for patients and families, following departmental documentation standards.* - Formulate discharge plans, including resource utilization and community referrals.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and document goal attainment.* Actively participate in unit-based and organizational quality management and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, and families.* Administer medications and perform nursing procedures safely and efficiently.
• Use equipment and observe infection control protocols.QUALIFICATIONS : Education : Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.Experience : Prior experience not required unless specified for certain specialty areas.

Licensure : Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
