About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Telemetry Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 12 hours, 3 / 12's with a 36-hour guarantee Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience;
- completion of 1 travel assignment required License : Michigan license verification required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS);
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Must-Have : - Paragon EMR experience highly preferred- Ready to start as soon as possible- No more than 3 days requested off- Committed to working every other weekend Job Description : Deliver quality nursing care through the nursing process- Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards- Adhere to hospital policies, mission, and professional regulatory guidelines- Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to promote patient and family-centered care- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients- Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs- Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions- Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional developmentPlease note that all contracts are likely to extend through most of the year if the applicant performs well and wishes to stay.
A strict attendance policy applies, whereby being absent from a scheduled shift or arriving more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift three times will result in termination.
