Your impact on the teamThe Content Acceleration team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer with experience in helping teams deliver quality software.

The content acceleration team is charged with deep collaboration with product and academic design teams to find creative ways to improve our speed to market for our curriculum products.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.What you will be doing : Be the driving engineering force on your team and be able to clearly communicate business goals to your teamBe an organizational leader in unlocking the potential of data to improve our user experienceCollaborate with your partner product and program leaders to push projects forward by removing obstacles, think beyond the MVP, and clearly communicate status to stakeholdersProvide creative solutions to content development professionals, using GenAI, automation, and process engineeringBalance the need to solve deep technical problems with the larger macro goal of delivering software expediently and efficiently across a distributed microservice architectureAnalyze business requirements and identify possible gaps, ambiguities, missing scenarios, etc.

Design and implement sound engineering solutions that meet the business needLead a distributed team to solve problems quickly and collaborativelyPresent a passion for building high-quality, user-friendly, scalable, reusable web components and microservices.

We're looking for someone with : 3+ years prior in a technical leadership position8+ years of demonstrated software delivery experience with a distributed product & engineering team.

Experience with full stack technologies such as Go and / or NodeJS for backend development, TypeScript, Angular 13+ for frontend development, and other technologies such as : Protractor, Playwright, RESTful Web ServicesRelational database design concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL)Application Testing (unit, integration, performance, end to end) for full user journeysCircleCI, Docker, KubernetesAmazon Web Services - RDS, Elasticsearch, SQS, S3Github, JIRA, Confluence, Zoom, SlackYou enjoy researching new technologies and methodologies and have a keen desire to dig into complex technical issues.

You seek out and use data to drive decisions to help your team and project succeed.You can work in a fast-paced software release environment, where you deliver production-grade (zero downtime, fault-tolerant, etc.

however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and / or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
