Overview
Pavilion-6, an Intermediate surgical and medical surgical unit with 30 single rooms, is deeply committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Our surgical services include surgical oncology, urology, bariatrics, and thoracic and colorectal surgery. Our leadership structure, comprised of a clinical director, an assistant clinical director, clinical nurse managers, and a clinical educator, is dedicated to supporting our staff and patient safety.
Pavilion-6 is supported by our unit secretaries, critical care technicians and registered nurses seven days a week. We work towards having all of our nurses’ cross-trained in surgical intermediate within the first year at Cooper.
Pavilion-6 fosters a close relationship with our providers, as our APN’s and Surgical Residents are easily accessible for support, questions, and directions with patient care.
They have offices right here on the unit, along with our leadership team and our transitional care team.
