• Performing preventative maintenance : This includes following established procedures to lubricate parts, adjust clearances, replace worn components, and inspect for potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment : You'll be diagnosing and fixing issues with machinery, electrical systems, and other industrial equipment.

This might involve using tools like multimeters, hand tools, and specialized equipment for specific machinery.

Replacing parts : You'll likely be responsible for identifying and replacing faulty components to get equipment back up and running.

Safety :

• Following safety protocols : This is paramount in industrial environments. You'll need to adhere to lockout / tagout procedures, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and be aware of potential hazards around machinery.
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards : Part of your job might involve keeping an eye out for unsafe conditions and reporting them to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Record Keeping :

Documenting maintenance activities : You might be responsible for keeping logs or reports detailing the work you've performed, parts replaced, and any observations made during inspections.
