Job Responsibilities

• Support airborne lot testing and space applications, including programming files and assisting with vibration testing
• Become proficient in battery test methods, including monitoring points, switching, circuit protections, wattage management, and time correlation
• Apply a practical physicist application focus to engineering tasks, avoiding purely theoretical approaches
• Conduct big data analysis to obtain predictive insights, identify indicators of known and emerging failure modes, and better predict end-of-life characteristics of lithium-ion aircraft and space cells / batteries, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of various battery chemistries
• Assist other analysts in utilizing analytic platforms as needed
• Present findings, approaches, and processes to team members
