Description
Partner with the Program Manager (PM), Product Owner (PO) and Technical Owner (TO) and Technical Architect (TA) on all activities.
Ensure clear understanding and adherence to program vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Ensure tracking, documentation, and storing in a central Audit folder, all required SOX Audit evidence throughout all project activities.
Partner with the PM, PO, TO, and TA to :
Establish a Communication plan.
Establish and implement change management approach.
Determine testing lead, if appropriate, and Test Strategy / Approach.
Ensure a preliminary solution architecture is defined in the beginning, during Inception Phase.
Define how the project methodology and ongoing documentation will be supported through the use of tools (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint / MS Teams, etc).
Resources
Determine how to resource the Agile team effectively based on the program vision and roadmap.
Partner with the Technical Owner and Program Manager to identify required resources and their skills.
Identify and assign the Agile team and the roles within the team.
Stakeholders and Sponsors
Identify and ensure clear, ongoing communication with stakeholders.
Establish transparency in keeping the PM and PO updated.
- Execution and Delivery
- Define the team's Ways of Working, including Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Define high-level release plan / approach.
- Ensure you understand the high-level business requirements and technical design throughout the execution.
- Partner with the Technical Owner / Architect to ensure Solution Architecture / Strategy is created and kept updated as changes are made.
- Partner with the Product Owner and BA’s to participate in building, refining, prioritizing product backlog of user stories
- Facilitate user story estimation and sprint planning.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Partner with the PM and PO to establish and adhere to a communication plan.
Facilitate transparent communication to the PM, PO and TO for the team’s activities.
Provide transparent and timely updates to the PM and PO to help support updates to the roadmap milestones and overall program updates to Sponsors and management.
Risk Management
Track and communicate Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies, and Decisions appropriately (based on methodology) to the PM, PO and TO.
Execution
Facilitate Agile project events : Scrum calls, Backlog Building (User Story creation, prioritization, refinement), Sprint Planning (estimation, technical assignments), Sprint Review, Demos with the business, Sprint Retrospectives)
Maintain statistics around team’s capacity to deliver; establish a more predictable delivery schedule over time.
Monitor team deliverables to ensure alignment with overall strategy (partnering with PM, PO and TO)
Partner with Testing Lead to ensure successful test execution and tracking of test evidence.
Risk Management
Continue tracking risks, actions, issues, dependencies and decisions across all initiatives within product portfolio.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Ensure all risks are clearly communicated to stakeholders and to PM, PO, and TO.
Transition Planning
Ensure detailed and clear implementation plans are in place for releases and tracked within JIRA.
Partner with team, PO, and TO to understand and ensure release readiness.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Facilitate Release Communication plan agreed with the PM, PO and TO.
- Communicate upcoming releases clearly to the stakeholders, vendors and partnering FT teams.
- Ensure support plans and communication plans are in place for weekend deployments.
- Establish channels of communication / support for post implementation events and user support.
Execution
Ensure post implementation issues are clearly gathered and prioritized.
Ensure transition to operations takes place.

Ensure transition to Production Support staff is clearly communicated to the team, production support staff, and stakeholders.
