Our client in Manhattan, NY is looking for a full time Senior Application Engineer to work in a hybrid model (3 days on site and 2 days remote) in their office.
This position is not eligible for C2C, this position is also only accepting W2 candidates at this time (US Citizen / Green card holder).
Additionally, only local candidates to NY / NJ will be considered at this time.
Role Description
This role will be the SME on the bank’s Application Portfolio; a key responsibility will be building out the portfolio what applications are being used, how critical are they to the bankers, what are the contract renewal dates, when are new releases, how are the applications deployed , are they the correct fit or is there a better solution etc.
They will work closely with the Business Analyst team as well as directly with the business / board to discuss how applications are being used, how important each application is, how it is maintained etc and to create detailed documentation for the applications.
They will be expected to identify issues for any applications and to extract data from the business to keep things running as efficient as possible
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall experience
- 3-5 + years hands on experience architecting, designing and administering applications
- Enterprise class experience - building deploying and architecture globally
- Diverse application experience must have experience architecting solutions for multiple applications not just Service Now, Microsoft, etc
- Able to configure, maintain and deploy applications using SCCM, Intune, SaaS and cloud solutions
- 3+ years’ enterprise architecture experience and design of SaaS and cloud hosted machines and systems experience.
- Fundamental understanding of DRBCP
- Strong Microsoft experience MSIs, packaging, Microsoft installer etc
