Great sales leadership opportunity for a top performing financial market data & technology sales manager to lead and grow a North Amercia Sales team.

Excelsior has been engaged to conduct a search for this innovative market data solutions fintech, a relatively small (c staff) yet established global data & technology provider to the financial markets, with a great client base of tier 1 banks, asset managers and hedge funds etc in Europe and North America.
Following additional investment and the appointment of new C level leadership to take the company to the next level’, they are seeking to appoint someone to lead their North Amercian sales team to take advantage of the untapped market potential for their solutions.
Reporting direct to the Chief Revenue Officer the sales leader will have line management responsibility for a sales team tasked to retain and grow a book of c20mn, and of lead course new logo acquisition for North Amercia.
As the company is in the process of organisational change to best set itself up for growth, there is of course the opportunity to effect change and make your own stamp’ on the sales team, so as to ensure you’re set up for your personal sales leadership success.
Appropriate candidates will be able to show :
Ideally will have some sales management experience; growing, leading and coaching a sales team to quota success, with a team focus on new client acquisition.
However, our client will however consider senior sales professionals who may not yet have had formal line management responsibilities, but are ready and looking for such an opportunity to formally get into management.
Ideally have experience selling financial market data / datafeeds / data distribution / data management solutions i.e. for likes of Bloomberg, LSEG / Refinitiv, S&P / IHS Markit, Nasdaq, ICE, or similar companies etc.
A willingness to work for and fit in a small company environment where an enterprising and entrepreneurial approach to helping grow a business will be valued.
