PM Account Manager

Job Description

OneMain Auto is currently seeking a talented individual to fill the position of a Collections Specialist.

As a Collections Specialist, you will perform recovery efforts to minimize losses on accounts identified as being delinquent.

You’ll have a portfolio of accounts that you will locate and negotiate with customers to find an affordable repayment solution, enabling customers to free themselves of a headache and you to achieve your monthly goals.

Having a consistent portfolio of accounts allows you to build and develop relationships with your customers and uniquely identify ways to help bring their delinquent accounts into a current status over time.

Location : Onsite in West Valley City, UT (No hybrid or remote opportunity)

Pay : base + bonus potential

Schedule : Monday through Friday from 11 : 00AM-8 : 00PM and a rotating Saturday every 6-8 weeks

Job Duties :

• Reviews and monitors delinquent accounts daily and maintains losses at or below established guidelines for assigned job duties.
• Properly and accurately documents all account activities.
• Initiates contact with customers in an effort to satisfy any deficient balances.
• Makes recommendations to management of accounts needing additional attention.
• Maintaining a positive and mutually beneficial cohesion within your team.
• May assist other related departments as required by business needs.
• Ensures compliance with OneMain Auto's policies & procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required experience / education :

• Customer Service : 1 year
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Outstanding phone and negotiation skills.

Preferred experience / education :

One year of collections or sales experience
