Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Lancaster, CA

Job Description : An excellent full-time opportunity is now available for a Speech Language Pathologist in Lancaster, CA.

This position is ideal for an SLP who is eager to contribute to a school setting, focusing on enhancing student communication skills and supporting their academic achievements.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring tailored and effective interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress.
  • Collaborate with school staff to foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with students and educational teams.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
