Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and estimating costs for our heavy civil construction projects.

This role requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

• Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met on time.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Estimating :

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects involving excavation, grading, roadway paving, site concrete, and underground utilities.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Use HCSS software to develop and manage cost estimates.
• Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Present estimates and reports to management and clients.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the heavy civil construction industry.
• Proficiency in using HCSS software is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
