About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 3+ years in emergency medicine

License : Iowa

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC

Must-Have :

• Experience with pediatric and adult patients, including behavioral health
• Experience with drips such as sedation and vasoactive medications
• Experience in telemetry strip reading
• Experience in a precepting and / or charge capacity

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team,

you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills

in the provision and management of care to patients

using the nursing process.

Patient types will include behavioral health, pediatric, and adult patients.

You will be responsible for maintaining a patient ratio of 4 : 1.

The unit has a total bed size of 18.

You will need to wear navy blue solid scrubs.

Traveling nurses will float across all campuses as required.

You will participate in holiday rotations,

including required work for two out of three major winter holidays.

Requests for time off may be limited during peak holiday periods.

Your role will involve working every third weekend.

This position provides opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.

You will engage with a diverse patient population,

providing essential emergency care as part of a dedicated team.
