We are looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Training Specialist to join our team on a part-time, ad-hoc basis and contribute to our corporate training offerings while based at our Training Center in Mechanicsburg, PA.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to deliver training programs that drive organizational growth and performance.
Primary Responsibilities :
Training Delivery and Facilitation : Lead / facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for diverse audiences.
Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and platforms (including virtual learning environments and in-person workshops).
Adapt delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles & preferences.
- Innovation : Stay current with the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in L&D.
- Travel to client sites (as-needed).
- Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
Basic Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field).
- 3+ years of professional experience working in instructional design, Learning & Development, or a related role.
Preferred Requirements :
- Advanced understanding of adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), multimedia tools, and / or virtual training technologies.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, especially with the engagement of diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written).
