W.B Guimarin & Co Inc. currently has an opportunity for a Commercial HVAC Project Manager & Sales in the Charleston, SC region.
In this position you will lead the sales efforts for replacement, retrofit, and new installations of HVAC equipment in the Low Country for the Commercial & Industrial markets.
What you will do
- Establishing new work by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing your sales efforts
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing customers
- Preparing job estimates by understanding plans and related documents; consulting with engineers and other professional / technical personnel as needed
- Preparing professional proposals and presentations that are tailored to the customer’s needs and communicate the proposed solution(s) clearly
- Delivering engineered solutions to the customer by providing safe and efficient project management and execution of proposed solutions
- Fostering excellent communication among team members
- Maintaining working relationships with our service sales, service coordinators and installation personnel
- Managing the sales of the projects - to include estimating and implementation
- Managing the installation crew
- Ensuring the scope of work is completed in a timely and cost efficient manner
- Collaborating with management to develop a business acumen that will maximize our business profitability
- You will be required to administer and comply with corporate business practices and policies
- You will be required to actively promote a safe work environment and adhere to all OSHA standards.
Education and Key Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and details; perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools
- Ability to manage other people effectively
- 3-5 Years of prior HVAC installation experience
