  • Location : Highland, IL 62249 (Illinois travel nursing job)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Medical Unit 2 – Telemetry\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n
  • Start Date : October 20, 2025\n
  • End Date : January 18, 2026\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (NOC), every other weekend required\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1950 - $2090\n
  • Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN or in a related nursing specialty\n
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)\n
  • Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL (travel nurse eligibility)\n
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend\n
  • Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills\n

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients\n
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
  • Provide patient education and support to patients and their families\n
  • Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR)\n
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment\n
