About the Team :

Our People team is responsible for supportingRelativity’sbest-in-class team, as well as strategically managing our hiring pipelines to help us find the very best to join our company.

On this team, you are given the opportunity to work across many teams and projects, while alsohelping toset the tone for Relativity’s company values and culture.

In addition to recruiting, you will also support employer brand efforts, as well as networking events, career fairs and more.

About the Role :

Collaborate with people leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business results.

Provide guidance on complex and nuanced situations, ensuring leaders are equipped to handle challenges effectively.

  • Serve as a reliable resource for individual contributors, offering support on various HR-related issues. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Embrace a sense of ownership of the overall health of the organization, working closely with leaders to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Elevate concerns and highlight potential hot-spots to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Champion initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About You :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or similar strategic HR role.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in California, with comprehensive knowledge of state-specific labor laws and regulations.
  • Deep understanding of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Experience with both exempt and non-exempt employee demographics.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues effectively.

Nice to haves but not required :

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience working in aerospace or a hardware technology startup, with an understanding of the unique HR challenges and opportunities in that sector.
