About the Role :
As a Remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals and families from the comfort of their own homes.
You will work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- At least 2 years of experience as a PMHNP
- Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of mental health conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
