The Accounting Specialist is part of the finance and accounting department and will assist in carrying out department objectives.
Compensation :
$50,000 - $60,000 Depending on Experience
Responsibilities :
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience to review and / or record transactions with customers and vendors according to contractual terms and system input requirements
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Record accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Fulfill data and documentation requests from auditors
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field; may substitute two years experience for degree
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Strong work ethic and service orientation
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
