Overview

Technology Systems Designer role at Hammel S.A.

Location options include Minneapolis, MN; Milwaukee, WI; Middleton, WI. This is a regular full-time engineer / design position within the Building Technologies team, with responsibilities centered on designing technology systems and documenting project requirements across a range of market sectors.

Responsibilities

Design technology systems and document project requirements in collaboration with the Building Technologies team.
Lead meetings with client leadership and stakeholders to discuss project goals, budgets, and design details.
Develop current and future technology solutions in coordination with internal and external teams.
Develop and implement decision-making processes and build consensus on project-related decisions.
Work with client teams to understand current technologies and develop strategies to evaluate and implement new technologies.
Communicate clearly and concisely to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in one or more technology areas such as : wired and wireless voice and data network infrastructure; audiovisual systems; security systems (access control, video surveillance, duress); real-time locating systems; building management / automation systems; nurse call systems.

Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and to design and document technology systems for projects across public, corporate, higher education, arts and culture, science and technology, and healthcare sectors.

Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of new technologies.
