Education : Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound training program.
Licensure : ARDMS in Abdomen and OB / GYN or Vascular
Experience : Prior experience preferred in performing abdomen, small parts and OB / GYN or Vascular exams.
Skills and Abilities :
- Anatomy & physiology
- Ability to recognize subtle differences between health and pathological areas.
- Computer skills
- Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment
- Manage patient during Ultrasound exam
- Proper Quality assurance
- Maintain information confidential (HIPAA)
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to utilize responsive customer service shills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers
- Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and / or Safety Requirements : Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching.
