About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Shift : 12 Hour Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience

License : Active Illinois license or confirmation of application process initiated

Certifications : BLS, ARRT, IEMA

Must-Have :

• Basic CT scanning skills
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Previous travel experience
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with high acuity and high volumes of patients
• Experience with GE CT scanners
• Ability to start IVs

Description :

The CT department operates with five CT scanners.

The role does not require floating to other areas.

Travelers will be expected to perform basic CT scanning.

Candidates must have level 1 trauma experience and previous travel experience.

The environment is fast-paced with high patient volumes and acuity.

Shifts will vary based on the position.

For night shifts, the typical start time is 7 PM.

Every three weekends will be required.

Weekend coverage for nights includes Friday and Saturday.

There is no call or standby requirement.

Solid color scrubs are acceptable, with some prints.

Department-specific orientation will be provided as needed.

No holiday coverage is required.
