Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)

Position Details
- Sign Language Intepreter
- Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week
- Will service children grade levels K - 12
- Full Caseload Details will be discussed upon first interview.
Availability
Full Time
- Monday-Friday
- Immediate Start
Education / Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in American Sign Language (ASL), Deaf Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, NIC, or EIPA).
- Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with school-aged children, is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with Deaf culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom settings and environments.
- Complies with school, state, and federal policies and procedures. Background Check, Fingerprint Scanning and Drug Screening Required.
Employment Type
- Full Time, Contract
- $32+ Hourly - Based on Availability and School Setting Experience.
