As a Store Manager at Goodwill Industries of Michiana, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our store operations.

You will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to ensure efficient processes, exceptional customer service, and optimal store performance.

Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, implementing strategic improvements, and maintaining high standards of operational accuracy.

Compensation : $55,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Operational Management : Oversee daily store operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ensure that all processes are executed correctly and adhere to organizational standards.
  • Technical Expertise : Utilize your knowledge of retail management systems and processes to optimize store performance.

Implement best practices and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.

Inventory Control : Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure that stock is properly organized and accounted for.

Utilize data-driven insights to make informed inventory decisions.

  • Staff Leadership : Lead and develop store staff by providing clear guidance, training, and support. Ensure that team members adhere to operational procedures and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Customer Service Excellence : Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Address customer concerns and resolve issues with precision and professionalism.
  • Sales and Performance Tracking : Monitor and analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and implement strategies to achieve store goals and enhance profitability.
  • Compliance and Safety : Ensure that the store operates in compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular inspections and address any potential issues promptly.

Qualifications :

  • Strong background in retail management with a deep understanding of store operations, systems, and processes. Proficiency in using retail management software and tools.
  • Highly analytical with a meticulous approach to managing store operations and solving problems. Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with a focus on training, development, and performance management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve operational issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Retail Management Experience, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in retail management are a plus.
