Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking a Data Analyst who will provide full-spectrum business intelligence and data analytic services for an enterprise IT initiative for our USCENTCOM customer.
You will support data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence for the USCENTCOM J6 Team. This role focuses on business operations analysis, data modeling, and developing insights to improve decision-making capabilities.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders, utilize Agile methodologies, and operate within an Azure DevOps (ADO) framework to ensure efficient, iterative delivery of data solutions.
Your work will support Tampa headquarters as well as CONUS and OCONUS operations. Your role provides IT strategy, data management, analytics, reporting, and the integration of modern data-driven technologies to help guide decision-making.
This role emphasizes the use of Agile frameworks to ensure rapid, iterative delivery of business insights.

What will you do in this role'
- Collaborate with the USCENTCOM J6 Executive Data Officer (XDO) to support data-centric initiatives and deliver insights through advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Apply Scrum / Agile methodologies to manage data analysis projects, ensuring timely delivery and adaptability in meeting changing requirements.
- Work within an Azure DevOps (ADO) environment, managing work items, sprints, and backlogs to track project progress and deliverables.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems using tools such as Power BI or other visualization tools.
- Conduct data modeling and define KPIs to support strategic initiatives in the areas of IT services, communications, and enterprise architecture.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring continuous collaboration and transparency across teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data pipelines and reporting.
- Implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in reporting.
- Perform data validation and cleanse datasets for quality assurance.
- Work within the broader Department of Defense (DoD) data strategy framework to align efforts with defense standards.
These are the required qualifications :
- B.A. / B.S. in Business, Data Science, IT, or a related field and 8 years experience, Associate and 10 years, or a High School Diploma and 12 years' experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Current TS / SCI clearance
- Experience with Power BI, Excel, and other BI / analytic tools for data reporting and visualization.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum / Agile methodologies, including the use of Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage work items, sprints, and backlogs.
- Experience in data analysis, developing KPIs, and providing actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge of data governance practices, including cataloging and metadata tagging.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed datasets and teams.
These skills are preferred :
- Experience with data-centric organizations or military / government operations.
- Strong communication skills to provide technical information to senior military / government officials.
- Scrum Master certifications preferred
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as ADO is a plus.

Pay Range : Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
