WSP is currently initiating a search for an Aviation Baggage Handling System Project Manager to work out of our Orlando International Airport Project Site Office .
Be involved in projects with our Aviation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Our Aviation Technical Excellence Center provides engineering and planning services for airports facilities, terminals and supports WSP's projects around the world.
The Aviation team works on multiple projects simultaneously, in close coordination with other technical departments.

Your Impact
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present information to clients, contractor, other staff and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Field Skills i.e. BHS, Coordination with Contractors and Stakeholders
- Understanding design drawings of scope, schedule and budget
- Participates in client development and relations activities including meetings, conferences and other industry events
- Development of project scopes, budgets and schedules
- Understanding and Participating with technical aspects of contract negotiation, presentations and meetings
- Maintenance of clear lines of communication and contractual relationship between Owner, Contractor, Staff and Design Team
- Ability to understand the phasing of a BHS
- The willingness to learn new technologies
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (not mandatory)
- Min 3- 5 years of experience in Aviation BHS, Owner's Representation, Construction, Management
- Able to review contract documentation at all stages of the project
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with PGDS, ISAT, TRR
- Strong airside and landside experience on large hub U.S. commercial airports
- Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients
- Valid driver's license, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug / alcohol and harassment policies.
- Hire is contingent upon client approval, being able to obtain an airport badge, and the successful completion of a background check which will be initiated upon receipt of your signed offer letter.
Also, as a condition of employment, it is required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent residency in the U.S.
or current authorization to work in the U.S. within (3) days of your start date.
