PositionOverview :
The Estimator / Project Managerwill be responsible for identifying estimating overseeing andcoordinating construction projects from start to finish.
This rolerequires ensuring that all projects are completed on time withinbudget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
TheEstimator / Project Manager will work closely with various teamsclients and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery ofeach project.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Manage and lead multiple construction projects overseeingall phases from estimating to completion.
- Identify prospective project opportunities estimating jobcosts acquiring subcontractor and material vendor quotes
- Develop detailed project plans timelines andbudgets and ensure all resources are used effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams subcontractors andsuppliers to ensure smooth project .
- Monitorproject progress and implement solutions to address any delays costoverruns or issues.
- Conduct regular siteinspections to ensure compliance with safety standards qualitycontrol and project specifications.
- Maintainregular communication with clients providing updates and addressingany concerns or issues.
- Approve projectdeliverables including work completed by subcontractors andmaterial purchases.
- Ensure compliance with allsafety regulations environmental standards and companypolicies.
- Prepare reports and updates forsenior management on project performance including financialstimelines and key metrics.
- Negotiate andprocure contracts with clients vendors and subcontractors to securefavorable terms.
- Drive continuous improvementin construction processes and project managementpractices.
Qualifications :
- A bachelors degree in construction managementcivil engineering or a related field is preferred; equivalent workexperience will be considered.
- 5 years ofexperience managing construction projects preferably in excavationsite development or utility installation.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes materials andregulations.
- Proven ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgetconstraints.
- Excellent problemsolving skillsand attention to detail.
- Teamplayer mentalitywith the willingness to work in conjunction with the entiremanagement team
- Strong leadership andcommunication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverseteams.
- Experience with HCSS Software includingHeavyBid and HeavyJob
- Proficiency in projectmanagement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel toproject sites as required.
