The Position :

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer Platform / Full Stack to join our roster and play a pivotal role on the Product team.

Reporting to the VP, Engineering, this position will lead the development of our Grandstand streaming platform. In this role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing complex software solutions that drive our business forward.

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable full stack web applications using modern technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in , leveraging it to build scalable and efficient server-side applications.
• Design and implement APIs to support both internal and external applications.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate APIs with various internal and third-party systems / services.
• Work with databases and GraphQL to design and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in production environments.
• Participate in the continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) pipeline for automated testing and deployment.
• Implement and advocate for testing best practices, including unit, integration, end-to-end and load testing.
• Ensure code quality and participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of development experience with 5+ years of .
• Proven expertise in a wide range of programming languages and frameworks, such as React, Angular, , Python, Java, and related technologies.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on development.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, Web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of system and web architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with GraphQL for building efficient and scalable API layers.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (., GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with both SQL / NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams is highly desirable.
• Experience with Keystone JS a plus!

The base salary compensation range for this role is $185,000 - $200,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
