Location Denver, CO / Remote MST hours

Position Overview : As a Business Analyst specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the healthcare industry, your role is crucial in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

You will be instrumental in driving innovation and leveraging AI technologies to enhance healthcare delivery, improve patient outcomes, and optimize operational processes.

You will be responsible for understanding the needs of the organization, identifying opportunities for leveraging AI technologies, and translating those requirements into actionable insights and recommendations.

By analyzing business processes and data, you will help drive strategic decision-making and ensure successful integration of AI into healthcare workflows and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering and Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document their requirements related to AI initiatives.

Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization using AI.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI development teams.

AI Strategy and Roadmap Development : Work closely with senior management to define the organization's AI strategy, goals, and objectives.

Identify AI use cases and develop a roadmap for AI implementation, considering feasibility, resource requirements, and potential business impact.

Stay up to date with the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market.

Data Analysis and Modeling Collaboration with Data Scientists and Data Engineers as they : Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.

Develop AI models and algorithms that align with business objectives.Perform testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Ensure proper data governance, data quality, and adherence to privacy regulations such as HIPAA.

Stakeholder Communication : Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into clear and actionable insights.

Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management and project teams.Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to promote AI understanding and adoption within the organization.

Project Management and Implementation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of AI projects, including planning, resource allocation, and monitoring progress.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of AI initiatives.Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed AI solutions, identifying areas for optimization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, business analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis techniques, preferable as applied to healthcare data.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, clinical workflows, and electronic health records.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy standards, such as HIPAA.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with business stakeholders to identify and implement solutions.
  • Experience in gathering business requirements, conducting process analysis, and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python, R or SQL.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks, libraries, and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare IT projects is highly desirable.
