Title : Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor  (LMAC, LAC)

Join BayMark Health Services and make a difference in the lives of individuals overcoming opioid addiction. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to provide patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and collaborate with medical staff to deliver integrated care.
  • Support patients through crisis management, coping strategies, and aftercare planning.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and quality care for all assigned patients.

Qualifications :

  • Active LMAC, or LAC license required.
  • Experience working with substance use disorders strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
