Overview
Performs Echo, stress echo (to include exercise and dobutamine), transesophageal (TEE) echo tests, contrast imaging as appropriate and general secretarial / receptionist duties as needed.
Demonstrates ability to assess patient status, data and interpret appropriate information. Ability to modify patient procedures to provide physician with appropriate clinical data to ensure quality patient care and optimal outcomes.

- Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures. Provides clinical documentation per scope of practice.
- Demonstrates understanding and supports service growth.
- Responsible for application and understanding of all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Follows RHS policies and procedures. Reports variances.
- Provides the highest level of patient care and engagement.
- Demonstrates engagement and commitment to work excellence through effective assessment, actions, and documentation.
- Demonstrates support and action for financial targets, accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Education
- Program Graduate, Accredited cardiac ultrasound program or equivalent on the job training from an echo laboratory (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
Experience
2 years related experience (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
- Echocardiographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Upon Hire (Required) or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registry eligible - Upon Hire (Required) or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - Upon Hire (Required)
- CPR / BLS Certification - American Heart Association / American Red Cross / American Safety and Health Institute (AHA / ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
