We are excited to announce that we are looking to add another fantastic Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to our team and help us maintain the high standards of care and service our patients have come to expect.

Job Qualifications :

Dental Experience : Experience working in an Expanded-Function DA capacity required, certification preferred.

Working Experience : At least one (1) year of experience in dental assisting and x-ray certified required.

Software Proficiency : Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.

Effective Communication : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.

Strong Interpersonal Skills : Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Job Responsibilities :

Chairside Assistance : Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.

Infection Control : Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.

Radiography : Take and process dental X-rays with a focus on patient safety and precise diagnostic results.

Patient Records : Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Polishing Assistance : Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.

Patient Communication : Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.

Treatment Environment : Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.

Position Schedule :

Monday-Thursday : 8am-6pm

Friday : 8am-12pm
