Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

ALL CONTRACTS MUST GO THROUGH THE NEW YEAR

Position / Specialty : MS / Tele RN

Ratios : Normal Ratios for med / surg, Day and Eve 5 : 1, Nights 6 or 7 : 1.

• Stretch Ratios for Med / Surg Day / Eve 6 : 1
• We have PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living
• We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines

Weekend REQ : EOW

Certs REQ : BLS

Is on-call REQ? (Y / N) What is the req? No

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs / float between like units? Yes, will not practice outside of scope

Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y / N) They will try but not guaranteed

Locals accepted : (Y / N) No

Pending License accepted : (Y / N) No

RTO Restrictions : We will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract

• Contracts preferred to go through the New Year
• No holiday RTO (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year’s) The agency nurse will not work all holidays but we need to use our discretion on which holiday we will need the agency nurse to work

Guaranteed Hours : 36

Special Requirements : Tele required. Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration

Patient Diagnosis : Colon cancer, intestinal obstructions, breast cancer, morbid obesity, cholecystitis, appendicitis
