SUMMARY
We are looking for a Sales & Planning Intern to help oversee and manage weekly KPI reporting, sales analysis & forecasting, and retailer activation planning alongside the Account Manager and Sales Planner.
As our Sales & Planning Intern, your primary role will be to support the sales team through analysis of retail sell-out and inventory and promote healthy sales performance at each retail partner.
This will be a cross-functional role, requiring collaboration with the Demand Planning and Operations teams for inventory and order needs, as well as working with the marketing team for activation planning and product information.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. You should display enthusiasm for cultivating a culture not only aimed at driving efficiency and maximizing on results through hard work, but also at recognizing and celebrating individual and team accomplishments alike.
Essential Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Pull sales data from vendor portals.
Update weekly sales reports for sales team and management.
Help to create and improve reporting for easier future business analysis.
Perform regular site audits to ensure product pages are up to date and shoppable.
Join meetings with retail partners to discuss business and future activations.
Track retail activations and performance compared to last year’s findings.
Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Characteristics
Current student or recent graduate of a bachelor's program, most likely in business, retail merchandising, supply chain or similar.
Strong mathematical skills.
Professional verbal and written communication
You’re detail-oriented, passionate and self-starter.
Able to manage multiple projects at once and stay connected with the team.
Interest in the beauty industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-primarily Excel
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
Strong time management and ability to work to set deadlines.
Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented.
Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, digital-first, work environment.
Please note that our internships pay at a rate of $17 / hour and are part-time, HYBRID opportunities - all interns must be able to report to our NYC office on Wednesdays, in addition to a choice of Tuesday OR Thursday.
Interns additionally must be authorized to work in the United States for the semester.
