We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team and support strategic decision-making, financial planning, and performance analysis as we continue to scale and achieve our ambitious goals.
Position Overview :
The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in providing actionable financial insights and supporting the company’s growth strategy.
This individual will answer directly to the CFO and be responsible for supporting the financial and cash forecasting, internal and external reporting, multi-location budgeting, and analytic efforts to drive performance and optimize financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Planning & Analysis :
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Develop and maintain financial analytics to support strategic initiatives, business case evaluations, and scenario analysis.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical data; identify trends, variances, and key drivers of financial performance.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, analytics, and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
- Assist in the implementation of robust FP&A software including development of detailed pro-forma comparisons.
- Strategic Support :
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Assist in due diligence and integration activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Performance Management :
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics; provide actionable insights to improve operational and financial performance.
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency in reporting and analysis.
- Stakeholder Communication :
- Collaborate with private equity partners and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on financial performance and strategic objectives.
- Prepare and review financial presentations and reports for investor meetings and quarterly reviews.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or a related role. Within a private equity-backed environment or high-growth company is preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis; strong expertise in Excel and financial software.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial statements, metrics, and key drivers of performance.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
