The Opportunity :
Food & Beverage Manager
Who We Look For :
The Food & Beverage Manager at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort will oversee operations of PB&G (Pool Bar & Grill).
This includes operations service standards as well as new club member relations component, which is a key piece of PB&G.
In addition, this role will work closely with the Recreation team to develop strong communication and increase working efficiencies to align the operation with the growth of our recreation facilities.
The manager will ensure the future success of the entire operation through inspirational leadership that drive continual improvement, innovativeness and manager / employee development.
Responsibilities :
Ensure thatestablishedcultural and core standards aremet;daily activities and planning for outlet operation
Be visible in the operation,providerecognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well asprovideexpert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for dinner
Oversee and control of labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting,purchasingdecisions, and inventory and cash control
Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors, and Management throughout the entire resort
Minimum Qualifications :
3 - 4 yearsof management experience within Food & Beverage
A sincere willingness toprovideservice to residents, guests, and peers.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule,abilityto workweekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English andpossesslegal work authorization in the United States.
