Ohio Healthcare Job Details Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse – Renal Med-Surg Location : Zanesville, OH 43701 Unit : Renal Medical-Surgical (21 beds) Shift : Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend required Hours : 36 hours per week (Guaranteed) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026) Position Type : Travel / Temporary Nursing Job No on-call requirement Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910 RN Qualifications & Requirements Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission) Current BLS certification Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing experience (renal experience strongly preferred) Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory; no training provided) Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination Strong adaptability, efficiency, and critical thinking skills in a high-volume healthcare setting Travel RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for renal and Med-Surg patients Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Float as needed to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and care Ready to join a leading Ohio healthcare team and make a difference in renal nursing?
