Electrical Engineering Group Manager (Glen Allen)

Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineering Group Manager. This position will be on-site 3 days a week in the Richmond area. The Group Manager will report to the Director of Engineering. They will oversee a team of up to 25 total staff with 5 direct reports. Main responsibilities include designing projects, mentoring and developing engineers on their team, executes projects and ensures successful delivery to clients, and serve as main point of contact for clients. Other administrative tasks include approving timesheets, approving schedules, reviewing engineers designs, and project management reviews.

Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering

RCDD or LEED AP certifications

Ezpower, Etap, SKM experience

Experience designing telecom or electronic security systems

Experience working on State / Federal / Department projects

Minimum bachelors in Electrical Engineering

15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer license (PE)

Revit / AutoCAD / BlueBeam

Must be able to obtain security clearance
