GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Assist sales managers in obtaining customer satisfaction, and to help generate new business by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to guest and hotel communications and sales.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (Includes, but is not limited to the
1. Assist Director of Sales, Corporate Sales Manager and all Sales Managers as needed.
2. Creates and maintains Execuline and Golf files
3. Coordinate communications between Hotel Sales and other departments ie : MIS, Accounting, Reservations, Hotel Front Desk, Food and Beverage.
4. Hotel Reservations in AS400
5. Account Maintenance in Delphi
6. Answer phones calls, direct calls, take and pass on accurate message
7. Greet, qualify and respond appropriately to each visitor, guest or prospective client
8. Type letters, reports and memos as requested
9. Process incoming and outgoing correspondence mainly related, but not limited to Execuline and Golf Groups
10. Assist with Execuline and Golf related Sales Blitzes
11. Attend meetings, join committees and groups as advised by Director of Sales or Corporate Sales Manager
12. Man trade show booths, attend trade shows on behalf of Eldorado Sales
13. Email messaging (receiving / reading and responding / sending)
14. Execuline Monthly Execudollar Maintenance
15. Prepare blues, yellows and reports based on rooming lists, room blocks and customer information.
16. Welcome Packets, Comp Authorization Forms for groups or events
17. Handle miscellaneous duties including all filing, shredding, binding, copying, faxing, office cleaning
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS : Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Able to provide our guests with excellent customer service. Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities.
Easygoing pleasant demeanor during all guests encounters. Excellent communication and observation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Programs .
Fully self motivated. Well versed in office etiquette practices. Professional phone manner. Multitasking. Accurate message taking.
Properly directing calls. Good public relations skills. Command of the English language with respect to understanding it, speaking it, reading it and writing it legibly.
Working knowledge of Eldorado policies. Basic knowledge of Sales Department policy and procedures. Typing, computer, clerical, reception and secretarial skills. Detail orientation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate / License : Valid permits to work in the United States

TYPICAL PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS : (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Sit entire shift.
Work seasonally heavy phones. Multitask. Carry and reach. Lift objects for booth set ups or sales events. Hand and finger dexterity.
