Overview
This is a Remote position. Candidates must reside in CA.
Purpose Statement / Position Summary : Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Payroll and Research Finance areas in accordance with all applicable industry and hospital requirements, restrictions, and expectations.
Oversees the preparation of various tax reporting and filing requirements, including the annual Form 990, quarterly sales and use taxes, annual property taxes, quarterly payroll tax submissions and annual returns for controlled entities, annual Form 1099 and W2 processes.
In charge of the hospital’s accounting functions, including the maintenance of the accounting system and performance of the related analytical work.
Serves as the PeopleSoft business owner and coordinates efforts with the Information Services department regarding data integrity of the PeopleSoft and related systems, including training, as well as coordinating the implementation of other tools to increase usefulness of the financial information.
Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 7+ years health care accounting / operations experience. 4+ years experience supervising staff.
Knowledge and experience with information systems required. Experience in re-engineering accounting processes, especially in a Fusion environment, is preferred.
Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field required. CPA or Master degree highly preferred.
Pay Scale Information
$199,056.00-$322,483.00
CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
