Position : RN-Oncology (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide specialized oncology care to patients in a hospital setting.

Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments safely and effectively.

Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for continuity of care.

Utilize data and feedback to improve patient care and achieve targets.

Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with oncology nursing advancements.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance oncology nursing skills.

Contribute to a positive work environment by supporting team members.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the oncology department.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio with oncology specialization.

Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology nursing.

Proficient in administering chemotherapy and managing oncology treatment plans.

Strong communication skills for educating patients and families.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in oncology nursing.

Experience in maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance.

Proven ability to meet targets and work in a results-driven environment.

Strong problem-solving skills to adjust care plans based on patient progress.
